Gordon Lee Beneke, born 1914 in Forth Worth, Texas, died 2000, in California. Saxophonist and vocalist with Glenn Millerīs big band 1938-45. After Millerīs death Beneke led the Glenn Miller Orchestra between 1946 and 1950. |
